Cards, journals and shirts, oh my!

We have people who come in just to look at all of our greeting cards.  If you thought we had a bit of a problem with puzzles, well, obviously you haven't seen our racks and racks of greeting cards.  We have everything from happy birthday, to thinking of you, to I love you, to cancer sucks.  One of our best selling cards relating to cancer is #angryhaiku.  I can't put the words on the card in this post, but the first time I saw the card, it summed up what I was feeling about having a friend in the end stages of cancer.  We have silly cards, we have cards with dogs, cards with cats, cards with books on them.  We have cards from the U.K., we have cards from local(ish) artists.  We have quilling cards.  Have you seen these?  They are little bits of paper rolled into the most beautiful shapes. We order cards as a collective.  We all get a chance to look at the catalog and offer our opinions. Then Becky is able to rein us in a bit and fit it all into a reasonable order.

The same process happens with our socks and bags orders.    Becky is the driving force behind our gifts department.  She is quite passionate about bringing in fair trade items, as well.  Look at these wool dryer balls from Nepal!  You can use your favorite essential oil to add just a hint of  freshness to your clothes.  I have heard that the citrus oils are great ones for a fresh smell!

And, have seen our sleep shirts? Whether you love, cats, dogs, coffee or music, we have the shirt for you! These are nice and comfy and one size fits all.

Journals, journals journals.  Travel journal? Mindfulness journal? Get organized?  Lock up your secrets? What books have I read? So many choices.  You could have a different for each mood or each day of the week.
